The resort has been developed within the remains of the Pantglas Hall estate. Although the mansion itself no longer exists, its romantic ruined tower, ornamental lake with bridge, and the impressive mews building still stand and provide the focus of the resort.
The Hotel
Scandinavian style timber lodges, each with fully fitted kitchens, cozy bedrooms, snug living rooms and verandas from which to admire the views. The decor in each lodge is traditional which compliments the warm timber walls of each chalet.
A purpose built Indoor Leisure complex within the old walled garden: with a heated swimming pool, well equipped gym, sauna and hot tub. Outside, there are all weather tennis courts; children’s play area, a football pitch and mini crazy golf.
The Magnificent Mews Building houses a cozy coffee shop with free Wi-Fi, a restaurant that offers traditional Sunday Lunch; two full size snooker tables, a pool table, Ping-Pong table, dart board and a children’s play room. There is a small library, a range of DVDs and board games which you can use free of charge during your stay.

You may also head to family oriented theme park of Oakwood in Pembrokeshire, which has the largest wood rollercoaster in Europe.

Dinefwr
Located just 8 miles southwest of Carmarthen, is the village of Llansteffan, a small lovely spot nestled between the sandy shores of the Tywi estuary and the lush green rolling hills of the Welsh countryside. Llansteffan also contains some pretty homes and shops and a pleasant shoreline. Situated at the foot of a steep-sided hillock is Llansteffan Castle. To reach the castle, just leave your car in the large lot and make your way to the southern end, where two paths will take you to the castle. The beautiful surroundings consist of beaches of bright sands at low tide worked by diligent cockle- gatherers and sun-worshipers; the opposite shore of Ferryside is an attractive sight; and vendors in the car park serve perhaps the most amazing portions of fish and chips you will ever see.
