Hyatt Place Secaucus – the Meadowlands Alternative

by ROYAL HOLIDAY

Hyatt Place Secaucus – Big Relief for your Next New York Trip.

Every hotelier in New York will tell you.

One reason business travelers love to visit the city is that there is always something else to do.

For the leisure traveler, that means there’s always lots of competition for deals and hotel rooms and for the convenience of staying right in the city. Sometimes it means too much competition.

The Roosevelt Hotel and the Intercontinental are booked solid, usually a year in advance – and it got to the point where we actually have to charge an extra fee just to stay there. Demand is still that high.

Think carefully about your next trip to New York, though. Is the heart of midtown necessary? Or would you be happier with easy access to the Lincoln Tunnel, lots of space, even luxury, in a beautiful Meadowlands hotel. It’s truly fitted out for the demands of business travelers – and that can make for a much happier leisure traveler too. Particularly if you’re flying into Newark, the Hyatt Place Secaucus offers an extremely convenient entry into New York City.

Think about these 6 miles.

  • 4.5 miles are a quick trip over the Jersey palisades where traffic is normally moving easy.
  • One of them is a circular spiral leading into the Lincoln Tunnel.
  • And one and a half remaining miles are partly underground – and partly above – in the tunnel and that mysterious stretch between the Hudson and 9th Avenue.

That’s a seriously easy 6 miles to cover.

So, even though we won’t convince everyone, we’d like for you to consider it. There’s no doubt that a midtown hotel is convenient for lots of travelers.

Is Mid-Town East really where you want to be? Take a look at the map below.
