Christmas at Disney is a magical experience filled with joy. If you’re considering a family trip to Orlando to celebrate the holidays, we assure you it will be an unforgettable decision. So today we’re offering you a guide to plan your visit and make sure your trip is perfect.
PLAN IN ADVANCE
The Christmas season in Disney is one of the busiest, which is why planning is crucial.
Tickets, accommodation, and flights are sold out quickly. As a Royal Holiday member, we highly recommend using Royal Travel’s services, the Club’s travel agency.
Royal Travel can work on getting flight tickets with excellent prices, and the best thing is that they can also help you find Disney tickets with preferential tariffs. Additionally, they can assist when renting a car or other travel services.
Planning in advance will allow you to avoid setbacks and ensure a stress-free experience to enjoy your family trip to Orlando.
THE IDEAL ITINERARY

Christmas at Disney is magical, but it’s also crazy. The parks are full during these dates, which is why it’s important to have an itinerary. Try not to visit them back-to-back because you’ll be really tired.
We always recommend having a date in between each park, especially if you’re traveling with younger kids or older people, and dedicate the day to relaxing, enjoying the pool, going shopping, or visiting other places in Orlando.
HOW IS CHRISTMAS IN THE PARKS?
Magic Kingdom is the main park and the heart of Disney during Christmas. Don’t miss the projection spectacle on Cinderella’s Castle, the decorations, and the encounters with all the characters dressed for the occasion.
Consider buying tickets for the special event “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party”, which includes a parade and exclusive fireworks. The “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Time Parade” is one of the main attractions of the season.
In Epcot, Christmas has a go all focus. The “International Festival of the Holidays” will allow you to try special dishes and listen to music from different cultures.
The “Luminous The Symphony of Us” firework spectacle is one you can’t miss. It will be a nice family trip memory.
In Disney Hollywood Studios the Christmas decorations of Sunset Boulevard are spectacular. Enjoy the “Sunset Seasons Greetings” spectacle on the Tower of Terror, with themed projections of the season.
In Animal Kingdom the Christmas atmosphere is calmer, but still present. The “Tree of Life” is illuminated with festive colors and the “Merry Menagerie” boat parade is a unique experience. Walt Disney World or Universal Studios? Here we will share which one’s better.
