When discussing traveling, we know there’s no one way to do it. You’ll find people who love traveling without a completely set itinerary and who let themselves be guided by the things they encounter along the way; others would rather have everything planned out and not worry about anything except for enjoying. At Royal Holiday we know that every member has their own way of traveling. That’s why, when booking with your membership, you often have the option to choose between the European Plan and the All-inclusive plan. And here’s the big question: what is the difference and which one should you get?
EUROPEAN PLAN: COMPLETE FREEDOM
In the European Plan, the price covers your accommodation, but it doesn’t include meals or beverages. You decide where, when, and how much you’ll spend on your food. Tell us how you travel and we’ll tell you who you are.
Advantages:
- You have the freedom to explore the local gastronomy, or, if you have a kitchenette, you can go grocery shopping, cook your own meals, and enjoy them whenever you want.
- The European Plan is also ideal for those who do not plan on spending much time in the hotel, as they’ll be on tours, visiting museums, walking through the desert, or shopping.
- And lastly, it will be cheaper if you eat lightly or if you prefer to improvise. The good news is that with your Royal Holiday membership, you have a lot of options to choose from.
ALL-INCLUSIVE PLAN: COMFORT WITH NO WORRIES
The All-inclusive Plan is complete: in addition to your room, you’ll have food and drinks (in a lot of cases you’ll also have the national alcoholic beverages), and in some resorts, there will be activities and shows.
Advantages:
- The first one is no worries, you don’t need to be thinking about budget; everything you ask for is already paid for so you only have to enjoy.
- It’s perfect for rest trips, where you want to lie on a sunbed with a cocktail in hand and enjoy. And it is excellent for families since everyone has available options without leaving the resort.
- Many all-inclusive hotels offer activities and entertainment, which brings the travel experience together. This is the case with the Park Royal resorts on the best beaches in Mexico that you can visit with your membership.
But there are also disadvantages: the price is usually higher than a European Plan and it can happen that you don’t make the most out of everything that’s included if you spend most of your time outside the hotel.
And if you like to try the typical food of the destination in local restaurants, maybe you’ll feel like the package was not completely worth it.
WHICH ONE SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?
At Royal Holiday we know everyone has different travel styles. If you want to explore every corner of the city or have dinner in different places, the European Plan is your ally.
But if you’re looking for corners to rest, pamper yourself, and not worry about anything, then the All-inclusive Plan will be your best friend. Find your next destination!
