    written by ROYAL HOLIDAY

Of course, Miami is pure glamor, from its spectacular beaches, and incredible deals at excellent shopping centers. But if your tired of always renting a car, public transit is a great option, and in many cases is free! Keep reading as we tell  you how to be an even smarter transit consumer during your next visit to the Park Royal Miami Beach condominiums.

    Metromover

If you're heading to #FriendsofNWS' after-hours party on Saturday night, take a ride with us! Hop on the #Metromover from the @ArshtCenter station and ride to #Brickell. Remember, the mover is free to ride and runs until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights! #GoMiamiDade

The free Miami Metromover is nearly 100% perfect with its efficiency, cleanliness and zero cost. This elevated 4.4-mile electrically-powered, fully automated people mover crosses downtown Miami and connects with the 25-mile dual track, elevated Metrorail system.

    The metromover’s three lines are:

    • Inner loop

Travels the business district including the South Florida Historical Museum and the Miami Art Museum.

    • Omni loop

Goes north. Take this line to arrive at the Freedom Tower, the Bayside Marketplace and the spectacular American Airlines Arena.

    • Brickell loop

Goes south, covering important tourism points such as Miami Circle, and the Indian ruins dating back more than 2,000 years.

    Check routes here.

    Metrorail

This 25-mile long elevated train route goes from the airport to principal points in the city. There are 23 stops, separated by a mile from each other. Trains arrive every 10-30 minutes, depending on the time of day. Tickets cost US$2.50 per ride. A map of the route is available online. Check the map here.

    Big Bus Miami Tour

This hop-on, hop-off tour bus costs US$45 per person. Get on and off whenever you want, exploring the city at your own rhythm. Stops include South Beach, Little Havana, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables and many other points of interest. For more details click here.

    Shuttle

Shopping centers, including the Dolphin and Sawgrass Mills malls now offer reasonably priced shuttle transportation to improve their shoppers’ experience. The shuttle buses arrive at specified points each morning, including the airport, Miami Beach, and certain hotels and then whisk riders to the specified mall. The shuttles return in the afternoon and evening to the same pickup points. Shopping mall internet pages have information on routes, costs and hours of operation.

Miami offers numerous transportation options besides renting a car or taking an Uber, so don’t miss out. Now you can forget about the hassle of traffic on your next visit to the Park Royal Miami Beach.

    Enjoy your visit!
