    1. Angkor Wat, in Cambodia is a miniature replica of the universe in stone representing an earthly model of the cosmic world. Built in the 12th century, a symbol of mightiness, this architectonic masterpiece is named by UNESCO a World Heritage Centre.
    2. Machu Picchu in Perú, is tangible evidence of the urban Inca Empire at the peak of its power, a citadel like non other and one of the 7 wonders of the world. It’s located about 7,970 feet above sea level.
    3. Taj Mahal in India is an exemplary architectonic wonder of Mongol culture. Shah Jahan built the Taj for his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died giving birth to their 14th child in 1631.
    4. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi rises majestically from beautifully manicured gardens, with 80 marble domes dancing on a roofline held by over 1000 pillars. It’s a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture and design.
