    written by Royal Holiday Club

If you’re a wine lover, Argentina is definitely your place in the world. Two of the most prominent winemaking regions of the country are Mendoza and Salta. Here you will be able to enjoy the complete experience of wine tourism with a good glass of wine.
And if that’s not enough, there are also very interesting wines that stand out in wine cellars in Buenos Aires Province. Stay on this post and pour yourself a good glass of wine while you read it.

    MENDOZA: LAND OF MALBEC

Argentine wine Stay at Huentala Hotel in Mendoza.

This region is famous for producing some of the best Malbecs in Argentina. Its cellars offer a unique experience that combines history, tradition, and technology. Only in Mendoza, you’ll find around 1200 wine cellars. Approximately 100 of them are open to the public for visits and tastings. Some of them even have their own restaurant with amazing gourmet proposals.

    UNMISSABLE CELLARS

    Wineries
We recommend visiting a maximum of two wineries per day to fully enjoy your glass of wine at each visit and remember it forever. We suggest group tours and excursions so you don’t have to drive.
Catena Zapata is one of the most recognized wineries in the world thanks to the quality of their wines. Here you will be able to try high-end Malbecs and learn about the different terroirs that influence the flavor of each wine.

Ruca Malen. Situated in Luján de Cuyo, this winery offers an exceptional gastronomic experience with a pairing of wines and typical Argentinian dishes. Order a glass of the Malbec Reserva, unforgettable.
For its part, Zuccardi combines tradition and modernity in its wines. This winery is recognized for its innovation and sustainability, and its wines reflect the diversity of Mendoza’s soils and microclimates.

    SALTA: THE PARADISE OF TORRONTÉS

    Saltas wine
Design Salta awaits you with the best experience.

The wine route through Salta takes you to try its Torrontés, a white grape variety that produces fresh and scented wines. In the Chalchquíes, Colomé, and Cafayate Valleys you’ll find the main wine cellars.

Prepare your wine glass, because it will be a party. In El Esteco, located in the heart of the Chalchaquíes Valleys, this colonial-style winery offers a wide variety of wines, including its award-winning Torrontés.
Piattelli is known for its high-end wines. Try their Torrontés de Altura, which reflects the freshness and elegance of the vineyards of Salta.

Colomé is one of the oldest wine cellars in Argentina, founded in 1831. Besides its Torrontés, Colomé is famous for its Malbec de Altura, which is cultivated over 2300 meters above sea level.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE WINE ROUTE IN SALTA
