DESPICABLE ME MINION MAYHEM
This is one of the most popular attractions in Minion Land. This exciting experience starts at Gru’s house, where you’ll be recruited to turn into a Minion. After a brief introduction by Gru, his adorable daughters, and of course, the Minions, you’ll be taken to a 4D theatre where you’ll put on some special glasses and you’ll embark on a frenetic adventure.
This attraction combines visual effects to simulate how you turn into a Minion, taking you through a series of comical and defying situations. It includes a visit to Gru’s lab and an attempt to rescue a minion in distress.
VILLAIN-CON MINION BLAST
This is the most recent attraction at Minion Land, which combines immersive resources, interactive game technology, and a catchy story. Here, everyone will play the role of villains to join the Vicious 6 team, the supervillains from Minions: The Rise of Gru. The players have a “blaster” that can be synchronized with Universal Orlando’s app, with which you can elevate your game to a completely new level. You can also keep track of your scores, and go on special missions.
ILLUMINATION THEATER
In this area of Minion Land, you’ll be able to make your dream of interacting with all your favorite characters come true: the Minions, Gru, Margo, Edith, and Agnes. As well as other Illumination characters from Sing, Lorax, The Secret Life of Pets, and more.
MINION CAFÉ AND OTHER DELICIOUS THINGS
After all the fun, you’ll probably need to recharge your energy. Decorated with the Minion’s peculiar style, this café offers a variety of dishes and beverages including the famous “Banana Smoothie”, in homage to the Minions’ favorite fruit.
And that’s not all, from any place in Minion Land you’ll be able to see a giant pink cupcake. This is Bake My Day, a candy store that offers a selection of Minion-themed desserts: cupcakes, macaroons, s’mores, and more. At “Pop-A-Nana” you’ll be able to taste sweet and salty popcorn, banana flavored! And in “Freeze Ray Pops” you can try their colorful popsicles inspired by Gru, the Minions, and Vector.
